Hajime has always been one second faster than everyone else. His eyes are never open in his school portraits, and he wakes up before his alarm goes off. Strikingly handsome but a self-described loser, Hajime is painfully awkward when it comes to interacting with women. One day, he meets Sakurako, a street musician, and falls in love with her beautiful singing voice. He arranges a date at the fireworks festival, but when he wakes up, he has somehow lost a full day! But Reika, a lonely, slow-tempo college student who comes to the post office every day to buy a single stamp, holds the key to the "vanished day." A quirky and optimistic comedy boasting beautiful Kyoto locations and charming performances from the leads.
