Nuit Blanche 2026

Join us in celebrating Nuit Blanche’s 20^th anniversary – a free all-night celebration of contemporary art that transforms Toronto’s public spaces into unexpected landscapes and animates cultural sites throughout the city.

This year’s theme, Tomorrow’s Memories, invites you to look back to the artists, curators, communities and places that defined Nuit Blanche and its twenty-year history.

The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (JCCC) Gallery's fall exhibition, Paradise, debuts at Nuit Blanche with an Artist Talk and interactive Origami Frog workshop. Paradise is a multimedia installation by Japanese Canadian artists and longtime family friends Mitchell Akiyama and Emma Nishimura that explores intergenerational inheritance.

The JCCC will also host building and museum tours, audio and guided tours, screenings of the unveiling of the Japanese Canadian Monument in Victoria, British Columbia, button making, origami, lantern workshops, and more!
